Cybele Musicians

Cybele has been very fortunate to have very talented musicians as part of the ensemble.  

Ben Gruver was already a versitile musician when  he began taking Doumbek classes with Cybele.  In 2007 he became a member of the Cybele Performing Group.

In addition, Ben plays didgeridoo's that he designs and makes himself.  Some of the istruments  Ben plays include the indian tabla, djembe and bones.  Ben is also a member of a unicycle group called Unipsychos.  Ben and other members of Unipsychos can be seen cycling through downtown Fort
Worth on Friday nights.

Ben's dedication to Cybele had him making a round trip of 100 miles to reherse and perform.  Ben can still be seen performing closer to his home and has promised to make guest appearances as time allows.
